Interesting digitalized publication about a project inspired by the Eiffel Tower.

The winner’s design was only partly completed (picture attached), but the Brits have finally made it in the 21st century - by building a gargantuan cucumber ;]

My personal favourite is #19. I named it “Screw the heavens!”

If you want to read more into it, I’ve found some indepth .pdf on another site:

Not only about the Wembley Park Tower, but also a similar project in Chicago.

Number 6 is my choice. The idea of having a locomotive engine pulling a train up a spiral track on the outside of the tower is brilliant. What an experience that’d be to wind your way up to the halfway point. Not sure what would happen after that (maybe on foot ?).
